Abstract
This collection consists of an article written by Estelle Jarnagin Naff entitled "The Battle of Mossy Creek: Yankees Defeat Rebels." This article ran in The Jefferson County Standard on Wednesday, January 6, 1954, and gives an account of the Battle of Mossy Creek that was fought on December 29, 1864, in what is now Jefferson City, Tennessee.
